NBA All Star Weekend 2013: Everything You Need to KnowBy SB Nation | Posted on: February 15, 2013Houston, TX - The NBA's marquee event will have some added flavor in 2013. The league's best, including LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant, will compete against one another in not only the weekend's main event on Sunday, but in an East vs. West skills competition on Saturday. The action will begin on Friday, Feb. 15, with the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge to cap the night at 9 p.m. ET on TNT. Saturday's action on Feb. 16 will feature four events that make up a large-scale competition between players from each conference. The winning conference will win money for a pre-determined charity and will be crowned at the end of the night. All of the action will be broadcast on TNT beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The main event will cap the weekend on Sunday when the Eastern Conference takes on the Western Conference at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
